Although great admirer of the man and his work, I am disappointed by this book, friendly and vain. We do not learn much. Most Roussel referring to works and Frerejean (widely quoted but forgotten in the bibliography). An impression that the book has not been reviewed. Some grammar, but above date approximations: The enthronement of Pompidou January 20, 1969 ... The worst being in style. Comments are often unnecessary and author abuse interrogative style formulas "there is ... no surprise." You would think the written text to be read by Stéphane Bern. A biography for Days of France in which to want to magnify unduly about it, the author finally serve it. For example, references to the "Tout Paris" are endless here and want awkwardly positive. Too bad, because the idea of the book focus on the couple was good, as it was exemplary.
