From 46 "comes the Samsung F6500 via forwarding, so you can make a delivery. Nevertheless is delivered in a very narrow box but well packaged and with panel protection. The base needs to be screwed but that goes quickly and without problems of equip, then is the jewel. And that's the Samsung truly a gem. The outer frame is quasi barely visible with a good cm and the Samsung logo at the bottom (at power briefly lit) is strongly reminiscent of last year's Samsung Premium line 7090/8090. The rotatable base also makes a very good figure and gives the Samsung footing. Next, the panel falls on, it is a good combination of matt (less glare) and glossy (better color representation). It is absolutely pitch black. Light reflections occur when light is incident on though, but they are rather diffuse and even when switched off not annoying. Next is also worth mentioning that in addition to the standard remote control, a second "touch" remote control is included. Thus Samsung admits the purchaser nor a familiarization phase to a new type of operation (Touch & Language). This is in fact in fact still getting used to and is in my view currently rather even a "gimmick" there.
Round, the first impression after the construction is very complacent and continues further when first turned on.
At the very first start you will be guided through the setup process, which is responsive, fast and comfortable, just as one would expect, for example of a game console. Most LCD "teething problems" like Clouding, Backlight bleeding etc. Samsung has survived with the F series, I had two devices on display at me and no problems or serial dispersion. The normal user therefore has no problems.
The only complaint, in all four corners there are dark spots which easily but most likely not noticeable and not even bother. Nevertheless, this "effect" is more or less visible in virtually all devices in the F6500 series he.
With 100Hz native or 400 Hz MCI movements are well represented, who "clear" is set to "Motion Plus" to have a good combination of buttery smooth movement with little "soap opera" effect.
The 3D mode is in optimal material (Blu Ray) very good, barely ghosting or other negative effects. Anyone who has seen "The Hobbit" in 3D is downright addictive. The conversion of 2D material to 3D is indeed a nice gimmick, in my eyes, but not (yet) suitable for everyday use.
The Samsung F6500 uses the "active" 3D mode ie the two supplied 3D glasses require batteries, are a little harder and you should at optimal lighting conditions (darkened, no direct light sources in the field of view) eighth.

* The browser indeed does not replace a tablet but also supports Flash and is quite utilizable
negative:
* Speed of Apps and Menu acceptable could, however, still be in my opinion a bit faster and also many a stuttering could be avoided

Finally, a brief comparison with other published in 2013 TV models, I have informed me before buying even at LG, Sony, Philips and Panasonic before I finally ended up with Samsung.
Philips:
Excellent image quality in the current series, but the software is not available in a "No Go". Alone when changing the picture settings one falls on the unspeakably slow Menu.
Panasonic (TX L42E6E):
Optically very chic device, only native 50Hz and also sluggish Menu control.
Sony (KDL-42W655A):
Also very good image quality, but the design of the current models polarized something. I unfortunately do not pledged.
LG (LA6208 and LA6608):
Actually, my first choice as best Smart TV features, insanely fast, very extensive picture settings but unfortunately extreme problems with Einleuchtungen backlight which are even tagsbüber visible and very poor black value (Panel is even when switched off rather gray than black!). I had 4 LG appliances with these problems are with me. In a nutshell, I'm from the Samsung F6500 still as enthusiastic as at the time of review, there were also over time no negative points or the like on. On the contrary, I find myself even more often while the Samsung just turn to, for example, features such as screen mirroring or coupling with mobile devices try :-)
Below are some key points:
+ Recording the current TV program even works on a USB stick, this only needs to be formatted (for confirmation) from the TV. Absolutely brilliant in this way Timeshift u. To use pictures without constantly infected a hard drive / walk to have!
+ In some cases it is mentioned that the SMART Hub Menu slightly jerky, but this is only at the beginning or directly after the start of the TV like that. Apparently start because some background processes, then (a few minutes later) everything is liquid!
