New York State of mind

I bought this little book thinking "Another book on American desserts. Let us try to see!". And I was hooked !!! I am rather salty than sweet, I started to prepare more and more desserts. The best cheesecake I ate, it was an afternoon of sunshine in a small pastry shop on 9th Avenue. Since then, all the others seemed bland to the recipe ... Mark Grossman. Taste his cheese cake gave me the same feeling as in his biting Proust madeleine. Just for this "return" to New York, I do not regret having bought this book is a gold mine for gourmands.
