Kale has the distinction of not being able to touch others unless reduced to ashes. It is his gift. He also lived in a center and is totally ignorant about many things (sexual, sensual, sentimental, love, and all that jazz!). Also, each of his discoveries is a mixture of glare, naivety, enchantment and sickly possession. It's silly, but rather good child (as his obsession with hand Dez). Adorable, yes, yes ...
In short, I found this nice play, with its healthy dose of stress and little layers of honey too sweet, but alas it does not offer anything new (remember too X-Men, The League of vigilantes, or as of Elusive Tahereh Mafi and Amnesia series of J. Rush). I wish to appreciate its true value, but I'm a little disappointed by its lack of originality.
