The biggest downside to this flowerpot is the fact that no inner pot is for me. I potted a potted palm a few weeks ago, but can not check if the roots have already found the water now. According to the manual will be in the first few weeks poured from above, so I can not yet know whether the roots reached the bottom or not. Even the regular cleaning of the substrate would be much easier with an inner pot. By rather unconventional shape and position of the water level indicator, it is also not possible to enter your own inner pot. If one fills too much water in the pot it begins to stink sometimes. For this I have not found a solution.
I welcome the design. However, this alone justifies the relatively high price but not.
All in all, I can not entirely rely on the system to date me. While vacationing, I would definitely take advantage of an additional irrigation system.
