After shaving with disposable years, I finally passed safety razor. This has very good reviews on specialized forums, and he deserves it. It is first a beautiful object, a simple design, with just the Edwin Jagger claw engraved on the collar. Heavier and shorter than a disposable, it requires a little learning period (do not press! Just the weight of the razor), but as is well balanced, it does not take much time to find the angle ideal to shave without cutting. For little that shaves two or three passes, and if the skin is well prepared in the rules of art, the result is incomparable and largely offsets a shaving time necessarily longer than a disposable. Add to this that this type of razor is very easy to clean and therefore more hygienic (your skin will thank you), and its cost is amortized quickly considering the price of the blades. Incidentally, I have not been conquered by the Derby delivered with the razor, whose quality seems random; for my case and for now, the Gillette Blue Extra (supermarkets) are those that give the best result.
