I have the Nikon D300 and the Nikon D90 This significantly lighter than the D300 is just as good and follows me everywhere I use either a Nikor 35 * 1.8 * 1.4 50 a Nikor a 16-85mm or 70-300mm Nikor With these four objectives I cover all the subjects treated The D90 allows me to get fully usable photos The results are incredible fidelity and when it is less good it is only my fault It must indeed follow some basic rules and select the appropriate programming for the story For novices there is however a completely automatic mode that gives very good results But if like me you prefer to use PASM modes, you will find huge potentel this unit is capable of producing (mastery of the field prondeur, with blurred background, gusts etc.) Built-in flash fulfills its mission perfectly dose and illumination of dark areas The viewfinder is very nice and allows precise framing In summary this D90 satisfaut me greatly, for against the video is more basic but I am only interested the picture (I do not like mixing genres) The D90 is well constructed with well-placed controls, only menus are a bit complicated but with a little we usually retrouse easily there (Nikon does not progress much in this area) Even today, and despite the impressive number of new products flooding the market, the D90 is a safe bet
