I was naive enough to believe it would suffice to connect the speaker wire 5.1 of the same brand to the headphone output of my iMac. Now there are 3 to make it work in 5.1 (Front, Rear, Center). There is no manual for mac while on the packaging is stipulated that this is compatible, I looked for tutorials on the internet. In short I regret my 2 purchases because this is a product that still occupies a USB plug my iMac and more is not practical because I thought I could get 5.1 sound by connecting the output of my videoproj on the line-in card yet it nothing happens. And then I thought the headphone jack worked for I heard the volume buttons but not the other sounds are not played. What a mess !!!
