No new milestone of Hip Hop - but much better than expected

At first I wanted the album do not actually buy. I found MaJoe although in the promo period of Kollegahs King album as a minor character relatively entertaining, but of him as a rapper, I was by no means convinced. After a concert of Kollegahs King Tour (MaJoe has since back-up rapper and also own tracks performs) I have now but given the album a chance and I was pleasantly surprised.

The Badt no new milestone in Hip Hop history would be, was clear from the outset. And yes it is true MaJoe strongly modeled on the style of Kollegah, but if you are honest, do already condemned many today. Of course, he benefits immensely from the hype around Kolle, yet one can not truly call him bad rappers. At least not anymore. Especially lyrically it is based very heavily on Kollegah. His rhymes are in comparison not quite as good, but well above the average of the scene. His flow is okay, but not the Übers ***, also his voice sounds sometimes quite feeble. Especially with the Build a stronger voice would fit much better.

Nevertheless, the overall package is right. If one puts all: beats, lyrics, technique, Flow and Image may well convince the album. At the same time I have to say quite clearly that the album is overhyped and over hated at the same time. It deserves neither praise nor unconditional pure hatred. It is what it is: a solid album from an artist Deutschrap will not revolutionize, but good fit as a supplement in the current scene.
