In this sense, I would not dwell on content or on gameplay, as they should be already known.
However, I would also point out some less pleasant things that potential buyers should consider, if necessary, prior to their purchase. Because for me the Speilspass comes first, I still give DSII full marks, anything else would be inappropriate, especially because I've only spent about 5 hours in the game, thus can not judge about Endgame content ...
What is negative struck me personally:
-> The technical aspect of the game. Despite new engine the graphic more than dusty acts. The gameplay videos, which were made available before the release of From Software, definitely speigeln not resist the finished product in terms of textures, lighting and sharpness.
-> In addition, the strong Objektnachladen falls on very. In fast turns and / or movements Poppen object in the game world. This is partly to entire houses! in Maluja. This circumstance was in the previous game so do not observe is probably due to the new engine.
-> The framerate dips as then in Blighttown have still not been eliminated.
-> There is strong level recycling, the forest of the fallen giant looks example just like Undead Burg from DSI.
All this would not in my opinion have to be. Otherwise, however, From Software has delivered those playful quality that I expected. A revolution can not be expected however.
With this in mind, happy and praise the dying sun, soul fans :-)
