I was a little disappointed, because despite several postiver reviews on Amazon, this lamp is not quite equal to my wishes. The illumination of the reading surface of a 7inch ebook reader is not uniform, and me also not bright enough. I take the lamp so only for emergencies (rarely) and can therefore not say anything about the battery life.
