My experience with the following settings:
My listening environment:
- Lossless music encoded on a normal laptop, Macbook Pro, Iphone
- Plane, train, ferry, car, road
Noise Cancelling
General
- Bad, because no language and high frequencies are filtered out
- High Frquenzen: discussions at the next sitting, announcements, Falling spoon -> That's Noise!
Plane: turbine noise are well filtered
Train (ICE): ICE is in itself very quiet. Running noises are hardly filtered
Ferry: reducing hum is sufficient
For the price, because the core function: One star deduction
Sound
- In the middle somehow mushy, heights not clear enough bass could be punchier
For the price and the claim of Bose as core function: One star deduction
Packaging and transport
- Good with the pouch, something poured small notebook cases
- Headphones can not be merged to reduce the pack size, but only turned
Handling
- Comfort restriction, since no radio (eg Bluetooth NFC) - the get other manufacturers such as Sony also suggest
- Fiddly button to switch phone / headset. Unintuitive -> Long guidance of Bose is doing but
- No mute circuit on the cable fummmeliger switch (left or right - Likelihood of confusion, but you learn that fast)
- Sweat after about an hour listening as leatherette shells
Cable
- Sufficiently thick cable in dark gray, cheap looking, but useful angled plug
Adjustment
- Good adjustment, small screen
- Adjustment does not go so far that you can wear the headset around your neck and show both earcups inward
Haptics
- Optical noble, the touch can not be maintained the impression
- Plastic Feeling like a Samsung mobile phone (which is why Samsung brings also a version made of metal)
