This screen replaces a 27.5 "Viewsonic VX2835WM 4:10 p.m., so the size of the new does not shock me, lost 120 pixels vertically either.
Good points: design and finish, height adjustable stand, relatively pleasant and responsive OSD. The color display is much more nuanced than the old. HDMI + DVI connectors ...
Bad points: The default brightness is exaggerated, one bronze, and as soon as you drop it the power of the screen makes noise. Pregnant snore when you plug an external source (mini jack next to the mains), the sound is pauvrissime a VOIP chat (Skype ...) incomprehensible by the lack of definition, my old was ten times better. Like I said the colors are more subtle, but I find that there is a lack of contrast therefore we can not fill with the settings. The vertical viewing angle is small too. There are no storage solution provided cables.
For the price it's not bad but I rather regret my old screen, all found 28 "HannsG slab with identical Viewsonic less expensive than this ... Iiyama

Updated September 6, 2010:
Meanwhile, I bought a second one broke down after 30 days, plus display. So I tested the service with an exchange of Iiyama there happened beautifully. A phone call followed by sending the invoice by email and the next day they called me to schedule an appointment for the exchange. I got a screen in perfect condition in 3 days between calling and receiving, still without defective pixel and the driver unpacked and packed the new old, I did not even have to provide the cardboard . Hats off, I will remain faithful blow to the Iiyama as they continue to offer products as well positioned.
