because I wanted to enjoy a simple MP3 player for the underground (eg audiobooks), I slammed the X30 Pro Odys.
You get a device with built-in battery (cost of batteries as during my last player account for it) with possibility of photos to look at. In addition, a radio with recording capability and a voice recorder.
What sounds good on paper, in practice, of course, different:
The Radio rushes, sometimes significantly (can not be switched from stereo to mono) what makes the good per se recording function practically worthless. Navigation is getting used to but doable.
Lately the player loses MP3 files, why ... I do not know
Nevertheless, the player is a recommendation, the battery lasts a long time, the sound is ok for 30 euros you can not expect miracles. (The iPod Nano from my daughter's worse ... but that's another story; o))
Positives:
- 2GB space
- Sensible Sound on other headphones
- Capable of accommodating Radio
- Built-in battery lasts a relatively long time
Neutral:
- Loading feature via USB (it helps a 1.99 Steckerladegerät from the bay)
Negatives:
- The Player "lose" files (from the original 1.8GB are still scarce as 300MB
- Menu navigation partially illogical
- In the dark, hard to use
- Radio reception may be weak
