A closer look at some changes have been made to the model:
a) There is no second paper feed for photo paper. If you want to regularly print in this format, you have to stop the paper change.
b) There is no longer touch. It is operated by "normal" buttons next to the screen. Restricts the functionality not particularly a, except that I have to click around reasonably much when entering access data.
The printer setup is pretty simple and the WLAN access can be carried out easily without a computer. The cartridges are easy to use and with no great Frickelei.
Even printing via Wi-Fi works well. It is helpful to check the start: If a printer is turned off, it automatically starts up when a print job via WLAN. There is also an energy saving function that can be set, at which the printer after 15, 30, ... minutes exhibits. For me, however, this is not working.
The print quality is as far as I can judge after a week, well. Even scanning works over Wi-Fi with no problems. The printer is nicely compact and lightweight. This advantage limited by the fact that you have to print open the front paper feed flap. If you want this close, you have the paper again until found. To print itself then you have to a) open a still further flap and fold out again on the bottom flap a 10cm long device, which prevents the Ausruck simply falls to the ground. If the printer is in this standby position, remains of this compact first impression is not much left.
Benefits:
+ Compact and lightweight
+ Easy to use and set up
+ Good print quality
Disadvantages:
- Only one paper tray
- To close the paper source, the paper must be removed
- Cumbersome paper output
- No easy way to print on one or more Android devices.
- (With me) OFF Automatic does not work
- No touch display
As a result, I would be more likely to buy me the cheaper and more functional in my view, the previous model.
