At first I was very upbeat and was looking forward madly about the many accessories like the SmartGuide, the high-quality travel case, the charging station with toothbrush holder and the five different brush (2x Cross Action, 1x deep cleansing, 1x Sensitive, 1x 3D White).
Additionally, I have a further 4 x brush (Cross Action), 1 x Oral-B ProExpert get toothpaste Healthy white and 2 x Oral-B ProExpert Essential Floss.
There are many different cleaning modes, which I have personally used almost only the normal cleaning and deep cleaning.
Cleaning Mode Normal mode for daily cleaning solid
Deep cleaning mode - in conjunction with the brush head for deep cleansing and ProExpert toothpaste I had really long lasting smooth teeth almost to the evening.
Tongue cleaning mode - to the tongue cleaning I dare currently not ran, I would immediately get a retching :-(
Sensitive mode - I once tried, because I in the meantime my old Prof.Care had to use 500 and got minimal bleeding gums. Do not think that it was the old toothbrush, probably to pregnancy
Massage mode - a benefit I see for me personally to not necessarily frills in my opinion.
Lighten mode very well to remove tooth stains, I would but only once or twice a week apply.
The SmartGuide is the most useful accessories for me. I was happy every time over the little smile and the four asterisks. He has a good visual control of the remaining time to brush quadrant. The selected cleaning modes on the SmartGuide shown with small icons very useful because you can not see on the toothbrush itself which mode you just used.
With Bluetooth 4.0 one can connect directly with the toothbrush Oral-B App. The app is very large, you can also set an individual care by providing more time you can give to clean some areas. So targeted care! One can use the app to clean the tongue, can remember the benefits of flossing and using mouthwash.
For the forgetful among us or sloppy certainly a useful addition.
If you are traveling, you have to drag the SmartGuide not necessarily with them. The mobile phone you will have anyway in.
Personally, I have used the app only twice and found it to my routine does not make sense, because I feel the SmartGuide than adequate.
The charging station can still merge with a brush head tray. In itself a great idea, since you now have a place to store the protected brush.
But here someone has not thought far enough. Because with the different heads, I think it would make more sense if the brush pointing upward. They do not. They hang their heads down and I have every time I want to use a different brush to turn all heads (with my luck) until I have found that I actually want to use!
What I find disturbing, is the bright blue light that flashes when charging permanently. I invite the toothbrush now only during the day.
The toothbrush is quite easy in the hand. Personally, I find them too big and clunky compared to the Prof.Care 500 (this made to be more stable with the white plastic housing). If too much pressure while brushing, the toothbrush will turn red. Because I had at the beginning to get used because I have apparently previously cleaned viiiiel too hard my teeth. A real familiarization suddenly only very gently and without much pressure to have the toothbrush on the teeth. The cleaning is very good despite that. I did not expect!
Now, when I look at me the final price and the retail price I am a little shocked!
An insanely high price for a toothbrush! For the price, I'm already getting a washing machine that you have to let melt in your mouth times ;-) When I look at me the relation of a toothbrush and a washing machine but I have to seriously wonder what since so much is in production Bluetooth can yes hardly be so expensive!
Short Summary:
+ The SmartGuide is lonely class and simple
+ The cleaning, however, is properly one can say anything against (doing but certainly a cheaper model)
+/- Many cleaning modes which I do not use some
- Bluetooth has for me at a toothbrush not belong (I'll be can not help feeling contaminated ^^ bullshit I know)
- The housing is too clunky and too large
My Conclusion:
The initial euphoria and enthusiasm is now giving way to disillusionment and a sense of disproportion.
