Interestingly, the Acer at roughly measured 3.4 m spacing has trouble fully fill the screen width of about 2 m, while the zoom range of ViewSonic night downwards is not sufficient and so radiates laterally past the picture a little on the canvas.
But what has finally prompted me to return the unit back, was the significantly higher volume, even in eco mode. Where the Acer softly murmurs to himself, you have a mutually acceptable, clearly louder noise, reminiscent of an older heater ViewSonic. Although little tonal components in noise are, that's for the living room too much.
Too bad, really ...
