Yes agree the atmosphere is stressful. Not long ... It starts well, then ca falls fast enough. I find myself in a game where the goal is to be discreet and surprise the monsters from behind, frontal combat is a little dead-end if it is not equipped with an ax. So yes the game becomes more fun by advancing (weapon, faster character customization, ..) but what bothers me is the slow pace of the game. Okay I'm in Chapter 3 but I am not taken as I was with "Last of us". Technically side graphics ... it is on PS4? Oh yes. Well the main character is well modeled, the lighting effects are nice, but the scenery .. even "far cry 3" is better. And then the displacement of personal, object taking, referred to the gun ... Ten places of the playability of "Uncharted". It's going that monsters are not very quick to the trigger them .. but better not to take a hit. Too bad, better gameplay and a little more interactivity personal / monster (monster happens if he sees you but if you explode a bomb it does not come (?)) Would have been more involved. I'm going to move on and I will return to my review if turnaround.
(Added) I see myself obliged to add a star for the ambiance. It gets really scary and graphics ... beautiful passages anyway. The monsters are hard but you need a specific technique for each one ... so no routine, but one dies (oh no, we shattered, cutting, eating, ...) a couple of times ... before realizing that it is better to flee and establish a strategy. The game improves and becomes more and more addictive. But not the right to make mistakes.
