Not bad, but you could expect more

I bought in December after moving a Fritz! Fon MT-D, an MT-F and a Gigaset SL400 H. I operate the equipment in a Speedport W920V.
Although the SL400 has a great design, is small and portable, has Bluetooth (main reason for the purchasing decision), otherwise it lags my two (by about a factor of 2 or 3 cheaper) AVMs in every respect afterward. The battery life is good, the voice quality tidy, but menu navigation (use for years Gigasets) could be better; Examples: only upon closer inspection is to identify whether you have now chosen home, office or mobile phone its call destination. If you have people with the same extended family name in the phone book, you see the name after selection.

Very annoying:
- In the border region of the connection to the base station (is reached relatively quickly) the phone creaks very loudly (especially on the opposite side - for the other person not pleasant).
- If the battery time is empty, you have to adjust every time the time.
- On my W920V I can not perform internal calls from this phone. It rings on the other side, once it is decreasing but ended the call - (to be called internally) goes the other way around. Can course specifically a problem between SL400 and W920V be.
- I really wonder why listening with already activated micro-mute not be activated (would be useful in teleconferencing - vice versa It's too!)

So, after all the negative, now still four stars? Why?
- The design is really fantastic and the processing makes a solid impression.
- Headset with Bluetooth is great to use and works perfectly - for me the "KillerApp" on this phone and buying and usage decisive criterion.
- I've had much poorer phones, the voice quality is certainly not the worst (falls but as already written when compared to the two cheap AVMs significantly from - perhaps an unfair comparison to a W920V as a base station, after all, put there AVM hardware in it ; I have no comparative figures at a Gigaset base station)

In general a very useful phone, even though I would expect a little less problems the way they are shown "very annoying" under to the price.
