Unfortunately, it has managed to make some proprietary change even in this format Sony, so it can not be opened in Pinnacle Studio (VLC Player, etc. play it but correctly from). The recording format is either in 4: 3 DVD-size (720x576) or a little narrower in the 16: 9 format, and when recording in the highest quality, the video quality is bearable (not described quite as bad as in the single test, the I could find on the Internet). My attempts to convert the Sony format into a standard format were unsuccessful (eg lacking in AVI format, depending on the converter, the sound, etc.)
The camera itself is easy to use, the menu quickly see through that easy to connect 2 USB ports on the PC and quickly during the data transfer. So if the films do not want to edit or a suitable program for it has (?) Is served as an opportunity for filmmakers to price well.
For me, the purpose was not fulfilled and that's why I returned the camera after the test phase.

Correction: I have seen that one in Pinnacle Studio has to acquire the missing Dolby2 codec extra (even free ... why he is not there, is beyond me). Now everything works and I can use the camera for my occasional movies. I have therefore the (already packaged for shipment) camera unpacked and can use it now but.
