I think the songs of "Lungs" and especially the diversity of the album absolutely awesome. Even the critics who reported the Lungs a "work of art" is I can only agree. However, I must say that my live performances always better liked than the remixed songs on the album, as when editing the recordings somehow incredible (I call it now times) volume and the uniqueness of Flo's voice is lost. And besides, I liked "real" instruments has always been more than the sounds of the synthesizer. Ich finds the way, a pity that Germany Flo's first album has largely missed. At that time she was here were yet unknown.
Now about "Ceremonials": Overall, I feel this album as less varied. The now is not necessarily bad. The album followed a line up more than "Lungs". Flo said yes in an interview on BBC Radio 1 that is intentional and therefore really wanted to record it in a studio (Unlike "Lungs" which indeed was created in different studios).
Vocally has since Flo's beginnings done definitely some. Her voice has become more crowded and more expressive. Still I feel, however, so I better find live as in the album tracks. This time they have their voice indeed somehow better recognized than on Lungs, but quite as bombastic as live not just still affects them.
Absolutely awesome was indeed the appearance at the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge incl. The Zane Lowe session. Sight to see itself as Florence + The Machine fan necessarily! Your vote in the show me skin around every time! (Only "What the Water Gave Me" was not quite as good as the other songs sung)

Even the appearance at the Royal Albert Hall for the benefit of the Teenage Cancer Trust was simply unique, although different because the songs had to be throttled because the orchestra in tempo, but still unique. Especially "You've Got The Love", "No Light, No Light" and "Shake It Out" in which they were simply breathtaking beautiful the available at the Royal Albert Hall (real!) Could use the organ.
Was of course immortalized on YouTube (link also below)
The songs are "less like Ceremonials" me on Never Let Me Go "(is just too corny)," Breaking Down "(is somehow too monotonous) and" All This And Heaven Too "(the lyrics there already are very nice)
My favorites are definitely "Only If For A Night" and "No Light, No Light". I particularly enjoyed. In these lids, the change between quiet verses and choruses sounded strong Other favorites are "Shake It Out", the rather jazzy "Lover To Lover", the soulful "Leave My Body", the melodic "What The Water Gave Me". The bonus tracks of the deluxe edition are worthwhile.
What I, however, the new album and the concerts a little lacking is the crazy Flo during concerts embarks on its drum, dancing around, jumping into ponds or climbing on stage scaffolding. Just the "feel-good Flo" the one absolute and travels with a happier person makes out of you ...
