I ordered the unit last week for our school. I wanted a device that is robust to withstand transport and also loud enough to sound for sports halls, etc.. This is at least the case! I had also bought a new iPod Nano 5th gen. Here was the probably not on the compatibility list of the device, which is not clearly emerged from the description. Strangely, I have a home in my kitchen a much older other device with iPod dock that plays everything easily.
