Demon Gaze - [PlayStation Vita] (Video Game)

Customer Review

As I have already spent some time in Demon Gaze I will now describe my impressions.

Graphics:
Those looking for elaborate graphics and animations that will not be happy with this game.
The drawn backgrounds and figures speak for themselves and create a good atmosphere.
However, when the Dungeon enters the fast but very poor 3D graphics on a fall, in the one in the first-person perspective is always moving from one field to another.
In the turn-based battles actions are represented by simple animations.
The own hero, unseen just as Face Icon on the right side of the screen, or slightly larger than characterization when selecting an action.

Sound:
The music is of course a matter of taste, but to me she really liked and is also not become annoying over time.
The sound effects are as simple as the animations but this does not have to be bad here, it sounds fit and not exaggerated. precisely.
One should also mention that you can switch between English and Japanese both the text and the voice output separately. A German localization does not exist.
The voice acting is only partly "key phrases" are all set to music while most other dialogs start with a word or an emotion sound.

Gameplay:
Again wins again the Simple.
Roughly one can Demon gauze divided into two sections, the inn and the dungeon.
In the guest house you move through a menu through the rooms and floors.
There you can put his group together, assume responsibilities, buy and sell items and much more.
From there on breaks in the Dungeons and comes afterwards.

The dungeon must be imagined as a grid through which one moves in the first-person view, step by step. So there is no real fluid movements.
There are random battles that are triggered when you move from field to field. Plus fields come with different symbols, these show Summoning circles, tougher opponents and bosses to.

The combat system is turn-based classic, first to choose his actions are to be made then the fight begins, the trains are made, etc. At the end of the fight, there is gold, experience points and items.
And the items are what is probably the most passes in this game, you grindet order to get EXP and great equipment.
The difficulty level of the game you can with an NPC at the inn at any time there are 4 of them, the second is selected by default.

Conclusion:
For people who need to have fun in a game and like I can go through grids on Monster / Item Hunt recommend this game no great animated graphics.
I love it very much.

It would get 5 stars from me if the 3D graphics would have looked a little better.
