Not one of the best ...

This book tells the story of a teenager who lives with his mother without knowing his father. One day, his mother asked him to leave the family home; he is 15 years old. He meets the greatest magicians, and his life will change. This is my 19th reading dAmélie Nothomb. It was a quick read, the dune end time DAfter afternoon at the beach. The story is interesting, compelling and nice bright about 150 pages, but I think the end is sloppy, fishtail. In short, this is not one of his best.
