When it comes to their style-defining models to the Hamburg Ramönes appointed unambiguously to the fathers of punk. So much so, that she already wanted to compromise on the naming. Emulate a musical role model too can be embarrassing. But these are the Hamburg Ramönes far. And that the whole is not a cheap copy, but the year (tenth) ensures long experience of the four musicians and their full love for no-frills melodic punk rock. And now after the obligatory during numerous live performances Wigs have disappeared in the dustbin - incidentally, much to the displeasure of many fans - go the Hamburg Ramönes anyway increasingly own way. The progressive Abnabelung from classic Ramones sound, which could always move at all sizes but only in relatively narrow musical paths, is particularly evident on the third CD of Hamburg Ramönes, Uniform Thing. The sound is much harder than on the two previous albums and the unnecessary gimmicks or evidence on which the musicians were still carried away the last album, the listener time to be spared. That leaves the band appear on her new CD authentic and fresh as ever. And the lyrics have matured. The album highlight Fugger City, in English certainly a veritable pun, is about the band everyday the last 'world tour' and is on the bonus CD available even in a beautiful sloping German cover version. Further support for the band from the forefather of the Country-Punk, Jason Ringberg, who helps out on the title track.
It's great that in this country are still so loving music projects. Not only for Ramones fans.
