I do not want to go into all the details of this objective, however briefly share my experiences. I bought this lens as Always-plan and use it as such. Not out of conviction, but currently Magel alternative. I'm really only with this lens photos. Only the wide angle I have to resort to the 18-55, because 28mm are already too much in many situations. Become so hot I'm all right with the 28-135, however, never. The picture quality is no revelation - unlike, for example, the 85mm / 1.8, in which I have repeatedly bewurdert the sharpness and brilliance of the images. Unfortunately, I did this at the time "exchanged" against the 28-135 to have more leeway in the focal length, and to escape the constant lens exchange. The pictures are fine - but nothing more.
What on the 28-135 is really bothering me that the tube moves out of its own accord when I want to photograph vertically downwards. When using a tripod, it is not possible for me to photograph the wide angle end. The tube comes out so far that the focal length is about 100mm. Only when I take pictures from his hand and holding the zoom ring while, I can make use of the wide-angle vertically downwards.
If I have the wherewithal together, I'll probably go to the Canon 24-105mm as "Always-on" and thus will hopefully happier.
