After unpacking, he shone in all its glory. It's a piece of technology wertig acting. Glad we opted for the white version. The fridge is really big, but in White he does not look as bulky. Had the SIEMENS lettering of raised chrome letters, it would have probably even better liked than with this adhesive film letters. But that is not really on.
For latching force change requires only minimal technical skills (and not enclosed Trox-bit). The changes I have in accordance with the instructions and can accomplish alone without leaving scratches. I wonder why the door strike not standardized is adapted to right-handed, after all, only about 10% of people are left-handed.
By aligning the refrigerator I have given me a lot of trouble because I had slight concerns about the famous soundscape and avoidable reasons wanted to eradicate the same in advance. Then I allowed him a further 2 hours break, instead of the recommended 1 hour.
After switching on, he made clear sounds that were already slightly intrusive in the long run. But after only 3 hours of the refrigerator had reached its set temperature (the recognized by the fact that the alarm lamp will no longer light up) and then the refrigerator was also much quieter.
After a few days in operation, the noise falls at all to negative. He is either very low or completely silent.
A few minor points but unfortunately I have yet:
- In the Coolbox (for meat), it is hardly colder than in the refrigerator (about 0.5-1 degrees less). That there sometimes to 2-3 degrees colder than should be the set fridge temperature, well-springs rather the wishful thinking of the marketing department.
- The door alarm is not worth much. Instead, after a minute, he was wide open door of the refrigerator compartment going after about two minutes and the wide open freezer door I closed after 3 minutes, without the alarm had been interested in it. Are the doors slightly open (which is more like the everyday problem correspond), the alarm does not work at. And if he then goes off but time, it would be desirable if the word "Alarm" will then light up, otherwise the button to deactivate the twilight is not easy to find.
- It would have been nice if a butter box would have been included. Our not fit namely in the appropriate tray. For that I would have no less than to give up the egg tray, as these remain always in a box with us.
- And for a refrigerator this price range, I would have also got A lighting of the freezer.
Since the refrigerator then unfortunately but allow some potential for criticism, I subtract a star. Apart from that we have been very pleased.
