So honestly, I do not understand all the "trouble" to Pur. On the one hand they fill stadiums, on the other hand tells everyone he did not like. Here was once said: Pur is a first-class musical band that makes good, honest, sometimes even a little bluesy rock music. Granted, the lyrics are not for everyone, because they still have some folk music level. Some of them are also quite quite amusing ("a gray hair") or sometimes ermahnand ("That you're sorry"). Musically, there is, in my opinion, however, little to complain: The production is top notch (better than many other German rock bands), singer Hartmut Engler has a good, powerful voice with recognition and songwriter technically the album is also well done. The song "Adventureland" is one of Germany's best rock songs of the last years and also songs like "you're sorry you" and "I love you" are absolutely above-average German rock songs. If the lyrics of these pieces would be in English, many Pur-critics would no longer get these songs probably out of his ears. One should not so much attention to the lyrics (which admittedly is not the egg of Columbus are), but just enjoy the good music. In English there are so many pieces less guessed texts, what hardly an upset because hardly anyone pays it. (This is an Amazon.com at the university-student review.)
