To apply: There is this machine "only" 2 Gar-levels. Rice is prepared as mentioned in a rice bowl. It is a black tray (on the product image is not seen here) without holes, which is then inserted into one of the dursichtigen shells. Gart is only the rice comes to the shell then the transparent cover. If you want more food to prepare, for example, have less cooking time, you simply set to the appropriate time of the additional food to be cooked, this in a basket to the bottom and sets out a "separation layer" and about then said level with the rice bowl and it then the lid.
Another positive note is that is placed on the "base", in which water is poured, as a "separation layer" to the first Gar-shell must be or. This then collects the condensed water or the juices of the food. According to the manual, you can use eg for the production of sauces this liquid collected then. Accordingly, the eingefülte to operate the Garers water stays clean. In the Philips device eg there was for no separation, so the raft excreted from the food liquid directly into the base. And because the base was not removed, the cleaning of the base has been rather difficult. This problem does not exist here. In addition, all parts or shells are to be cleaned in the Spümaschine. In addition to the 2 black baskets that are placed in the transparent shells, there is an essay to cook eggs. It should be noted, however, that you can use only one of the baskets during cooking, both together do not fit each other. Means, for example at a level of rice in bowl and cook on another a food which has not in one basket. Braun recommends these black bowls for coloring foods (eg tomatoes or carrots) to use, so that the transparent shells not discolor. For me this meant the first try, because I wanted to cook rice and additionally dämfen tomatoes, I could not prepare it in a black bowl against the instructions. I was then with my Seelachsfilet directly in one of the 2 transparent bowls. Fortunately, the tomatoes but not rubbed off.
Otherwise one the timer at the desired time has to turn the vapors. There are some tables with recommended cooking times for various foods in the accompanying manual. Unfortunately, a recipe book is not in yet. Again, it is to try again.
So I'm very happy with this first overall device. 4 stars I give, because the price is quite high, there are unfortunately only 2 Gar-levels and there is only one knob to adjust the time. Nevertheless, in my opinion, a good device that is sure to give me even more pleasure.
Incidentally, there is yet another Brown-device that is as this nearly 20 euros cheaper and works just anscheind or constructed. However, this has no transparent shells. However, I as a steam cooker novice wanted my food to be cooked at any time to view the vapors. That's why I decided for this more expensive model. Who this is not important, which can optionally save a few euros.
