Caution ...
With a guilty eagerness, I ordered this cable to connect my Kindle Fire HD received as a gift for Christmas 2012 HD TV but reception this Saturday, January 19, 2013, I realize that the plug described as Mini is still too big for be accepted by the Kindle ... Damn!
It must be said too that Amazon discreetly mentions the specifications of the HDMI port of the Kindle Fire HD: to see on the side of the tablet / reading, you would think it is MINI ... but no, IT IS MICRO!
Indeed, after extensive research, we read these characteristics: it says: Micro-HDMI port (Micro-D connector) for a high definition video output to your TV or A / V receiver
Mea Culpa ... I'll use to connect other electronic devices such as my Lumix digital camera to my HDTV.
In fact, looking closely, for the Kindle Fire HD, so it must have a cable with a Micro card as described below:
Connector 1: HDMI Male Type A
Connector 2: Micro HDMI D Male
Do not be like me dizzy ... and enjoy your Kindle Fire HD, real little jewel of technology!
