The handle should extend the battery life of my Sony NEX 3. But it turned out quite differently, because the handle must only for the Sony NEX 3 (at 5 NEX not) be converted, for that you need a mini-Phillips screwdriver and Asia knowledge (for the manual). Then it takes a long time until you have connected it to the camera, not for the impatient people, especially the cables just do not want what I want. Finally done and then ..............
