This is clearly not the best Donna Leon. If the book is pleasantly bed, one is surprised to get to the end without having actually seen the plot. We just feel like spending time with Brunetti, for coffee, to be in his office, or receive the world. We will add the little uneasiness felt that the couple Brunetti seems to falter or at least, that the spirit of Brunetti can go to other women in certain passages. It occupies the summer afternoon. No more. There have been a lot better.
