BUT: I have deducted a star because the adapter with my JVC KW-AVX640 has (for now) is not working.
In a telephone conversation with a knowledgeable staff of NIQ I was then informed that this probably affects the entire KW-AVX series. Apparently the appropriate software has been changed (on the radio) for this series.
Within one day me an additional cable with a small board (cost point 10) was then sent, bringing the steering wheel remote control again working properly.
This will be indicated in the product description would have been desirable!
Buyers with a radio of the corresponding series should possibly occur previously with NIQ in contact in order to avoid a repeat order as in my case.
Otherwise, this product is highly recommended because you can be sure that even the KW-AVX series is supported.
