I have to stick with the same installed the drivers from the homepage. Plugged First Stick and wondered that Windows installed 8.1 before its own driver from Realtek. Then the new driver added via update function, but somehow, the tool has then no longer recognized the stick clean. So all the drivers again uninstalled and then about it again-update the new driver. Then the tool has recognized the stick, but with the wireless key it did not want partout link to my network. So uninstall the tool and connected to Windows - works. But are very clean, the driver still does not, if you take off and activates the drive, Windows do not always get with that it is online again. And when switching to AC Only in the driver settings -> Blue Screen. Nevertheless, I have to boot the computer quite fast AC connection, so basically works the stick, except for the remaining inconsistencies in the driver. --- Addendum: Meanwhile, I have uninstalled the driver and use the driver that Windows 8.1 will install automatically with me, is 1026.4.1023.2013 Realtek. Whether they are from the Microsoft-fund or by a Realtek stick previously installed, I do not know. This solution works perfectly so far, there are my two APs on channel 44 and on channel 100 and the adapter can be detected with it without bluescreen on AC fix to prevent entering into slower connections.
