Vine offered me now a 1-PC version for testing and since I had a computer when using Win8
also McAffee's been playing, I thought that I again give Norton a chance.
Norton Security comes in the yellow box, which a card with the License Number and the download
link enclosed. A software CD are nowhere. To use the software, you have to
first on the Norton site and also register then. For me unacceptable, but I
have done it then but in order to test the Security Suite can.
After logging in / setting up an account, the license number is then indicated and you
can download the software, which went fairly quickly. Even installing lasted too long.
After Norton resembles then the databases from online. This took some time.
The resource consumption appears to be quite low at Norton. I use Norton Security on a
Notebook with an Intel Core 2 Quad 2:58 GHz and 2 Gig memory and the system is still other
agreeable quickly. For comparison I use Kaspersky on a I5-3470 with 8 gig memory and lasts
Only starting something.
The interface is very user-friendly, excited me the Rootkit search. Law kept simple
staltet, but effective.
Conclusion: At first glance, Norton Security make a very good impression, it seems with the resources
sparingly of the system and thus is not a brakeman, whether it me to switch from Kaspersky to
Lead Norton, I can not say ... The only time will tell. As disturbing I find the Must
