The set, there was a flash deal for 109 Euro. At a suggested retail price of 149 euros and road individual prices that are about 80 or 69 euros, the set is a bargain.
Sure, you can get at discount stores cheaper sets. But qualitatively nothing is comparable.
Keyboard:
The keyboard is flat and very smooth. You can use it very well and write in my opinion is the first choice for those who need a straight (not curved) keyboard. For occasional writer perhaps too expensive, but perfect for prolific writer.
The keyboard is equipped with 2 batteries, which you can not easily change. The closure is screwed. In a normal use of more than 8 hours, a battery charge lasts about 2-3 months.
The keyboard is illuminated. This has its charm and its benefits. The keypad illumination can be deactivated, however.
Mouse:
A very good mouse for bigger hands. For me ideal, but about 50% of users, which I offered the mouse, wanted to work with a smaller mouse he prefers.
In larger hands it is very comfortable to hold and glides easily over many surfaces. (But I have experienced from time to time have problems on glossy magazines)
It is supplied with a rechargeable battery. The range is less than a month, but varies depending on usage.
Sender:
The transmitter is small and pre-programmed for the set. A plug-and-play should be possible with most operating systems.
As mentioned in another review, there is no driver CD. I see it not as a shortcoming.
The batteries (AA) were in the last 2 years either Eni-Time or Eneloop. In the last delivery GP ReCyko (OEM Not for Resale) were installed. One gets apparently what has just been bought cheap.
I have not tested the GP now, but personally the Eneloop have always liked me.
When you load the mouse this is was unfortunately right. I find that uncomfortable. I would pull it half a point. (One point, if I would evaluate the mouse alone).
The best way it loads when it is not in use.
It is included a USB charging cable.
Unfortunately, there is the network adapter for the USB charging cable so that charging is possible even when the computer is off.
This is available if you buy the mouse as a single product. At least that was a year ago that. Possibly saving Logitech now.
Despite a few shortcomings, I think that set a great success and welcome the fact that you can buy in a set cheaper the K800 and the Performance MX finally.
