Certainly, competition for francophones to Norwegian methods is not huge, but Assimil has not taken the easy and published for that language one of its best practices. Indeed, not only the language itself is taught effectively, but the cultural notes are better made than most other titles in the collection and learning is facilitated by an omnipresent humor in the lessons of texts . A substantial bonus compared to other languages represented in Assimil: Lessons 56 and 63 are embellished with song recordings (the song and the song Ingrid Solveig) that allow to appreciate the beauty of the language better than through the conversations of everyday life. Three flats which, however, not lead me to lower the note which I attribute to this method: the progress hitherto gradually becomes too great lesson lesson from lesson 80 about; the exercises are not recorded after class 76, while the dialogues are even; the explanation of the Norwegian tone is not a model of clarity. Nevertheless, I am very satisfied with this method.
