One of the best progressive rock albums in 2013 !!!

For the label "Inside Out" I am very pleased that it has again brought out with the hook "The Mountain" a great, exciting and varied rock album. Much more, I am pleased that there is such a grandiose musicians who know how to draw their audience with their music in Bann. Until I was alerted in the music magazine "Eclipsed" on this album, the band told me absolutely nothing. Due to the excellent reviews in this journal and the auditions at Amazon, I decided to buy this CD. And the purchase I have truly no regrets.
The music is typical of the progressive rock, but at the highest musical level. For this purpose, I found at Wikipedia a, I think, appropriate quote from Keith Emerson:
"It's music that progresses. An idea will be taken up and developed, and not simply repeated. Pop songs are characterized by repetition, riffs and simplicity. Progressive music takes a reef, puts it on his head, playing him again exactly reversed and researched in this way its potential. " After my consider themselves hook moves in the tradition of "Yes", "Spock's Beard" and "Dream Theater". The polyphonic singing with the song "Because It`s There" even reminds me a little of "Sting" and "Spock's Beard". This song is also one of my favorites on the album. Rockig impulsive and with friggeligen, jazzy passages is "Falling Back To Earth" my favorite song from "The Mountain". Especially nice is the quiet held "Ace Death Embraces". "Pareidolia" has strong influences of Arabic music and is also a feast for the ears of this work. The song of the band is as variable as the music itself.
In addition to "The Raven That Refused To Sing (And Other Stories)" by Steven Wilson studio album and of "Crippled Black Phoenix" live album "Live Poznan" is "The Mountain" certainly one of the best progressive rock albums this year.
I can put this album every friend good progressive rock music only warmly recommend.
