I'm a little disappointed with the lack of consideration of this game everywhere. Yet it is an excellent game and probably one of the best RPG of the Playstation 2. For apart from a somewhat average realization (we are far from a budget FF), this game has nothing but qualities, and is not that much to be ashamed of the comparison with a Final Fantasy X. The developers have really applied to make a good game and it shows on the screen: we have the right to a long-term history and whose action is interspersed with numerous cutscenes (some of which in synthesis). Everything is tinged with a kind of dark side (the game is set during the First World War, and you can even take a trip to Paris or cane) and a very original game system (ring of judgment) cutting the fighting idleness while imposing a certain rhythm. Add to that a period of 50 hours on 2 DVDs, quests (mainly late) rather numerous, very lovable characters with tragic side (Yuri, Karin ...) as well as good music and you will understand that I am a little shocked that such a game goes totally unnoticed by the general public because in my eyes, that Covenant deserves as much respect that a Final Fantasy or even more given the limited means allocated by comparison.
