Here the same book, the same translation, but by a French publishing house.
As a bonus, a preface by a French doctor.
For the rest, it is the same book, with the exception of some linguistic details, such as "fast food" replaced by "fast food" ...
My criticism is the same as for the Canadian version:
This book is called "The China Study" by VO. If it were possible to put 10 stars, I would put 12.
T. Colin Campbell, the prestigious Cornell University, is the instigator of this epidemiological study, the largest ever conducted on nutrition. It is one of the foremost experts in the world on nutrition issues. It is not a "specialist" small-time, but an eminent scientist who worked for the US government and the food industry for most of his life.
According to Dr. Dean Ornish, himself a world leader, "This book is one of the most important writings on nutrition. Having read it you may save lives."
It goes without saying that most of our ideas about the food we eat (which we call "food" perhaps wrongly) are undermined. A subtle increase was introduced by Campbell, crescendo: laboratory findings (proteins ...) to the field studies (power mode and civilization diseases), to finish in the corridors of agro-industry food and government, who walk hand in hand ...
What remains: the relief that finally, after 150 years of industrialization, meat, milk and all kinds of excesses, the facts make themselves known.
