Velcro attaches great on my aluminum windows as well as mosquito net over the velcro. This will be 15 days since I installed and it has not budged. In addition, when you open the window, there is excellent visibility. My friends had not even noticed. If like me, you do not get bitten by mosquitoes, I would definitely suggest this net.
