Hello! I already had a ds214se and ds213j I however had to quickly return to DSM5 for the exchange of dsm4.3. My two WD 3TB HDDs RED were then continuously ejected from DSM for alleged HDD errors. The ds215j I use now since 1 week ago with the identical disks as ds214se and ds213j. The device runs very performant with write rates of 70-90 MB / s and read rates of up to 111 MB / s which is just before the border of CAT5e. The NAS itself runs in my home with the packages MediaStation and CloudStation. Unfortunately, there are still problems with the Hibernation Mode, as the hard drives to be awakened every 2-3 hours always with me.
But what I really have to praise is that DSM's open source! Especially in times of NSA spying and the British remain my data in the private network. Nice that the headquarters of Synology in Taiwan is and is not the same in the monitored USA. Thank you Synology!
