The cable has a very stable alone already because of its relatively high extent and the juncture between the cable and connector housing is properly processed.
However, I have also seen significantly better strain relief for little more money.
The plug itself have gold-plated contacts that are not really necessary for the digital transmission. But a gift horse.
:-)
The advantage of the angle plug is directly significantly during installation.
The cable is connected to the 32 inch flat screen out perfectly downwards and protrudes so not towards the wall.
So also the insertion was significantly lighter than a normal plug-in connection, because you can considerably better and more targeted impressions because you no lying in the way cable has.
Of course, underneath the connector must also exist sufficient space for the discharged cable.
So who has its HDMI ports are present in distinct recesses / notches or below the target port has other unused connections, could have problems under certain circumstances.
You should therefore check before buying one.
Picture and sound are perfectly for me. Since it is a digital connection, but that should be so.
The handshake thus the connection to the TV works without problems.
The connection is always made so far correctly and quickly, even when source changes on the TV.
The cable is to be settled by the technical data forth the way in HDMI 1.4 standard, and is therefore not indicated in the product description for the newest HDMI 2.0 standard suitable.
Some differences from HDMI 2.0 to HDMI 1.4 real the cable
- 60Hz instead of 30Hz
- 14.4 Gbit / s data rate instead of 8.16 Gbit / s data rate
- 600MHz instead of 340 MHz
Whether the cable these values nevertheless creates I can not judge for lack UHD-source material.
I consider the product description but for misleading and have UGreen already asked for a quick correction.
Something I was irritated by the negative review on the topic "Does not fit, plug upside down".
At first I thought, what's the problem? Surely you can choose between the product version 90 and 270 degrees.
However, then I noticed that not really go with the images with the selection, you always get the display 270 degrees variant ("long" side down). As has "Aschemann Klausi" so right.
Again, I have UGreen requested correction.
All in all, these cables to arrange my mind in the middle class.
The value for money is OK in my opinion.
For a few euros more but it still significantly higher quality cable (also of UGreen).
I hope this review could assist you in your purchase decision ....
