I was being, as small, light and tidy processed searching for a vacuum cleaner which has enough power for pet hair. (This was also satisfied) I also had a Dirt Devil in the past, this has done well in several test concerning. The suction power and also the price / performance ratio is good, I ordered this model.
When Sauer arrived I unpacked him immediately. The assembly of the items was easy, but my first manufacturing defects are already noticed. When attaching the floor nozzle to the suction tube I found out the hard way that the suction pipe is poorly processed. The edges at the end of the pipe were so sharp that I have cut my finger in it. Furthermore, I must criticize the fact that the items do not have a device with which can be arrettieren together the respective parts. Practicing while sucking greater pressure on the handle / the tube can pass times already that the items (pipe & handle) disengage and you have to put together this only again. Another drawback is that you can not properly fastened to the suction intake manifold. While there is a corresponding holder, but this is processed so inferior that the suction tube almost every tilts out of its holder. On the underside of the sucker is no such device exists at all. If one of the suckers so upright in the store room has no way to attach the suction tube.
The volume of the vacuum cleaner is not very quiet, but still within reasonable limits.
However, there are also positive to say about the vacuum cleaner!
The size of the vacuum cleaner and the weight must be evaluated as positive in my opinion, although the items compared to my previous Dirt Devil model has become much more difficult. However, when comparing the weight of the items this sucker to the weight of the items of the test winner of the Stiftung Warentest or Chip.de (Siemens VSQ5X1230) you will quickly find that the Dirt Devil is significantly lighter and thus easier to handle. The processing of the cable feeder and the container for dust is processed properly. In terms of maneuverability, I would the Dirt Devil also exhibit a very good score, although here the above Siemens model is better. The power cord is long enough and through the long hose to get even in remote corners.
The suction can not judge because I have ultimately but chose another vacuum cleaner.
