I chose this model because of the 120 ° coverage area, as most other specimens with 25-36 ° are more spotlight. Power consumption is relatively high at 6.5W, for me but the delivered brightness appears even equal to or even slightly higher than that of the replaced 50W halogen spotlight. The temperature light warm white / 2700K also strikes me as comfortable as with the old halogen spot. In contrast to the usual 36 ° -Spots, the radiation is actually much wider, and in the central region, the lamp appears not so much. The widening is achieved with a special clear plastic lens on the front side, in front of the 10 individual LEDs. What I did not like: contrary to the imprint of the blister pack (100% Instant Full Light) takes the lamp in the cold state as 0.5s to concerns them. When you turn off briefly and on again it goes on immediately. The most unpleasant for me was a clear humming / buzzing that I have ever experienced with any other LED lamp. For use in rooms where you want to hear soft music, this model for me was therefore no longer in question. The last two points disqualify the lamp in my eyes for use in residential areas; I have banished them into the stairwell.
