I think the one here P / L-technically already receive a good and qualitiv satisfactory product.
The case comes in an easy open cardboard packaging. Contents of the box:
1. Hard Drive Enclosure
2. very rigid eSATA cable (rather bulky, works flawlessly, about 40cm)
3. USB power cable that comes to the DC5V connector of HDD (:) about 40 cm, USB port built right rum)
4. MicroUSB> USB cable for the USB 2.0 port on the drive (USB connector runs around assembled - The plug must match the USB symbol down into the USB jack - I noticed grade - very ugly!) About 40cm
5. A housing sleeve made of synthetic leather (you can pretty well the cable pure plat in one of the window)
6. A CD with the One Button Manager software - not try - I need nich.
Advantage of the case is in my opinion the screwless installation of the hard disk. The plate is fixed by the rails inside the housing - nothing rattles, but I think a crash of the housing could be here both the SATA and the power connector inside the housing racking / destroy. A suspension / recording system of rubber would have been here maybe intelligent at the price but unrealistic. So OK for the price - who raises his already eSATA HDD down.
So far I am very happy with the housing. Everything fits and the built-in disk is properly recognized and integrated both the USB2.0 and eSATA on.
Operated via the USB2.0 interface you only need one cable - the MicroUSB to USB Cable - running power then the 5V USB. Very nice.
Bandwidth USB2.0 with a 320GB Hitachi 7200 / min, 16MB cache with SiSoft Sandra File System Benchmark (32MB / s read, 26MB / s write)
ESATA HDD with the same bandwidth, with SiSoft Sandra File System Benchmark (87MB / s read, 87MB / s write)
I am satisfied so far with the speed - nice fänd ego when the case had USB3.0, but that would be feasible only with an extra charge I think.
All in all I am satisfied and awarded 4 stars.
If the eSATA cable a little less stiff and would if it were me worth 5 stars, the housing USB 3.0 and maybe even a small side pocket for 3 cables.
