The case is the perfect backup solution for private users. It can be easily installed 2x2.5 inch hard drives. Both heights (9.5, 12.5) are supported. Through supplied separately Sofware Raid allows the two hard drives to a RAID 0 or RAID 1 close together and are ideal for backing up files with Time Machine, for example.

The case is partially made of metal and plastic. By the metal very good heat dissipation. Has 2xFirewire 800 and 1xUSB 2.0 port. To be well supported daisy chaining Firewire. I have not yet tested.
