After buying a USB 2.0 to Fast Ethernet Adapter that never worked, despite all my research on the walkthroughs and drivers forums, I bought for barely 3 over this adapter which I immediately allowed to establish an Internet connection via Ethernet, without even needed to install the driver! In addition there are 2 LEDs to visualize the activity. I recommend it to all owners of MacBook Pro Retina, which are not equipped with Ethernet port.
