For me, the hot glue gun was in the production of our catwalks very intense in use. I have therefore adhered among others thin Sisalstränge on wood. It was important that the adhesive surface is very small and constant and precise portioned over longer distances. In addition, the adhesive must scratch the attacks of my cats withstand. All this gave me this gun works well. The strands hold even after half a year of my cats scratch attacks. ; O)
The advantages summarized:
- Very small, light and handy; is also good in female hands
- Perfectly portioned and almost com mittee (it hardly pull threads and Paint dripping after almost not at all, if it is turned off)
- By the battery you can take the gun anywhere and not have to carry everything to the gun
- Heated very rapidly (one can more or less start right away)
Disadvantages?
I have found only one drawback. If you want to stick longer distances or large quantities at once, you already need some patience with this gun. The glue sticks are very thin and often have to be refilled and the gun heats only at relatively small distances really consistently good.
All in all I give clearly a buy recommendation for smaller crafts.
