To benefit from this excellent little soft book, the format sheets, you have already: 1) be familiar with hiragana and katakanas.et not have French support required for exercises 2) to the lexicon get an idea of ranking Japanese dictionaries to find words more easily. But you get there easily enough, the lexicon is not huge! 3) The kanji are annotated (as usual) in the lesson, but not in the corrections of exercise. So you still can spot them without much pb +++ Grammar sheets are very clear, very well explained rules, well-designed exercises, the course enables vocabulary to properly secure the most important words.
